Funnier than expected
David Spade was funnier than I had expected. I wasn’t necessarily a fan, but was looking for something to do with some friends.
However, the show felt very rushed. The opening act was very short and seemed a little rushed.
Spade’s set also seemed to be rushed and go very quickly.
Once it was over, it was immediately announced that we needed to get out of the building, even if we were waiting for an Uber. It seemed quite rude.
I think they also missed out on the potential for a lot of alcohol sales.
The line before the show started was long and there was only one. We waited for 25 min and didn’t get a drink bc we didn’t want to miss the show.
There was also no intermission, so no chance for bathroom breaks and a chance to get to the bar again.
